Happy new year, y’all! Not sure about you, but my first week has already been way too busy and mostly not in a good way.
That said: As part of stepping up my game in 2023, I decided to have some new pics of me taken. My last photoshoot was something like 10-13 years ago and it was more a semi-pro thing. They looked good, but could’ve been better. Not to mention the several hopefully-people-understand-that-this-is-meant-to-look-bad-for-comedic-effect photoshops that I made through the years.
My plans for the outcome were „fun and colourful, hopefully cool too“ and spoilers: The pics are better than I ever imagined. They were also more work than expected and I still am a bit dizzy from a bunch of spins that I had to do to make my hair and wardrobe float, but that was worth it.
I went to Fotodesign Voss in Datteln, who convinced me with the creative part of their portfolio on their website. I highly recommend them, not just because of the end results, but also because of the way there. It really was a fun shoot and they made me feel like a model without overwhelming me.
